This first premiered at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival at the start of 2026 and shown at other fests. An incredible, eye-opening, edge-of-your-seat documentary film story exploring extreme mountaineering's changing culture during a treacherous winter K2 expedition following John Snorri Sigurjónsson and the Sadparas (Ali Sadpara was their climbing leader), made by acclaimed filmmaker Amir Bar-Lev. This also features iconic Nepalese climber Nimsdai, who sadly passed away in an avalanche a few months ago. I wrote a good review of this doc from Sundance and do recommend it to anyone interested in modern mountain climbing. // Continue Reading ›
