The first names joining the 2026 Emmy Awards as presenters have been announced. Just days before the star-studded event, the names of the first batch of presenters for night one are officially out. The 78th Emmy Awards will take place over three nights. The presenters for the 78th Emmy Awards will include renowned names of television stars alongside rising actors.

Twenty names have been announced by the Television Academy. The confirmed presenters include Colin Hanks (Silo; Lucky Strike), Julianne Hough (Dancing with the Stars), and Wanda Sykes (The Upshaws). Alongside them, the list also features Nyesha Arrington (Top Chef), Johnny ‘Bananas’ Devenanzio (The Challenge), Brittany Broski (Royal Court), Sean Evans (Hot Ones), Bill Glass (Queenpins), R’Bonney Gabriel (Project Runway), Brianna LaPaglia (Plan Bri Uncut), and Ariana Madix (Love Island USA).

Heather McMahan (Absolutely Not), Julie Chen Moonves (Big Brother), Kareem Rahma (SubwayTakes), Jet Tila (Chef Grudge Match), Lisa Rinna (The Traitors), Stassi Schroeder (House of Stassi), Chris ‘CT’ Tamburello (Hunting Games), Whitney Way Thore (My Big Fat Fabulous Life) and West Wilson (Summer House) are also included in the list of 2026 Emmy Awards presenters for the first night of the ceremony.

Bob Bain and his production company, Bob Bain Productions, are executive producing the event. Television Academy has also stated that the names on the list of presenters are subject to change.

What to know about the 2026 Emmy Awards schedule

The ceremony is scheduled to begin on Saturday, September 5 at the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE. It will continue on September 6, and the event will conclude on September 14. The host for September 14 has also been announced.

Emmy-winner Mariska Hargitay will be hosting the event on night three, on September 14 at the Peacock Theater at L.A. LIVE. While the event from the first two nights will be edited into a single episode and will air on September 12, the final night will be broadcast live.

The first two nights of the event, the 78th Emmy Awards (Creative Arts). will air on FXX at 8 PM ET/PT. It will also be available for streaming on Hulu. The final night will broadcast live on NBC at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. The audience can also stream the event live on Peacock on September 14, 2026.
