Florian Wirtz has said Liverpool have to do better after a winless start to the Premier League campaign.

On each occasion, Liverpool have shown spirit to twice fight back from behind to equalise late on, but Wirtz has said the Reds must be better in all areas.
Liverpool were on the wrong side of fine margins in Saturday's stalemate with Nottingham Forest at Anfield, with Wirtz having a goal chalked off for offside, and Alisson Becker penalised for bringing down former Liverpool defender Neco Williams for a penalty.
Having seen summer signing Victor Munoz net an 82nd-minute leveller to salvage a draw, Wirtz reflected on a 'very disappointing' start to the season.

"Of course we demand from ourselves the most. We couldn't take the three points again, that's why I'm disappointed. We have to keep working on the things we can do better and we have to get back to winning ways.
"We want more, we don't want to be proud of that we came back into the game after we conceded, we want to be on top of the opponents and want to be better than them and take the wins.
"We have to do better, defend quicker, be quicker in the positions. I'm just disappointed about the result."
Liverpool will next aim to pick up their first win of the 2026/27 season when the Reds travel to face Ipswich Town in the Premier League on Friday night.
