The Ultimate Fighting Championship is in Sacramento, California, on Saturday night, for UFC Fight Night 285 at the Golden 1 Center. When the main card kicks off at 8:00 p.m. ET, there will be an intriguing fighter making his promotional debut.

Enter heavyweight Anthony Wint, a former New York Jets linebacker who will open the main card against Terrance Chatman on Paramount+.

Wint will be stepping into the Octagon for his UFC debut with a perfect 7-0 record and five wins by way of knockout. Chatman, meanwhile, is 5-1 with four wins by knockout, so fans can expect a slugfest.

Wint makes his UFC debut just over one week since a 34-second knockout win over Matt Adams at Dana White’s Contender Series 87. The win was enough to impress the UFC boss and earn a contract. Now, the former Fury FC Heavyweight Champion will be taking his talents to the big show.

To make Wint’s UFC debut even more special, he will be wearing a special UFC Debut Patch on his fight gear that will “later be removed and placed into an official 1/1 UFC Debut Patch trading card” for Topps.

Before turning to MMA, Wint was a three-time second-team All C-USA standout for FIU, before joining the Jets as an undrafted free agent in 2018. Now, he’s ready for his MMA career to take off.
