Maurice Benard, who plays Sonny Corinthos on General Hospital, took to social media to share that his daughter, Cassidy, is getting married. He revealed that he would be officiating the wedding and expressed his feelings about it. Cassidy is the youngest of her two sisters, Cailey and Heather.

Back in April 2025, Benard also took to Instagram to announce his daughter’s engagement by sharing a picture of her and her fiancé. “My baby girl Cassidy is getting married to a great man @anthony_cammarata. They went to Japan and he surprised her in Disneyland it truly is a fairytale,” he penned. Following this, he also celebrated their proposal by sharing a video from their big day in Disneyland. At the time, he mentioned, “People talk about soulmates these two are two peas in a pod. I could never see either of them with anyone else I love them both tremendously.”
