The God of War Laufey Collector Box is a £129.99 merchandise set, not a game bundle: the PS5 title is sold separately. Eurogamer reports that the box is planned for release on 16 February 2027, the same date the game launches.
That distinction matters for anyone weighing the price against what arrives in the box. It contains three physical collectibles: an illuminated statue, a 51-card Oracle Deck and a mini artbook. Sony also lists the price as $149.99 in the US and €149.99 in Europe.
What comes in the Collector BoxThe eight-inch statue depicts Faye, Phranque and Rue facing Begtse’s soldiers. Phranque, the cube-like companion, lights up when the statue is connected to a USB power source, according to Sony’s product details.

The box is firmly aimed at fans after physical extras; those expecting a disc or a digital game code will need to make a separate purchase.
That split between game and collectibles is not new. Eurogamer points to Rockstar’s £349.99 GTA 6 Collector’s Box as another merchandise-only set, and notes that some Destiny 2 collector’s editions have previously omitted the expansion code. Premium gaming collectibles can take different forms, from display pieces to miniature cabinets such as the Atari Battlezone Quarter Arcade; this particular box, however, does not bundle its namesake game.
Limited availability and launch dateThe Collector Box is due on 16 February 2027 in highly limited quantities, exclusively through PlayStation Direct where available. Pre-orders are open while supplies last, according to the product announcement.
God of War Laufey also launches on PlayStation 5 on 16 February. Buyers considering both the game and the box should therefore factor in two separate purchases, rather than treating the £129.99 price as the cost of a complete game edition.
