MADISON – Nothing but a win would have satisfied the Wisconsin faithful this week.

The Badgers, 38 ½-point favorites, delivered a 36-9 win over Western Illinois on Sept. 12 at Camp Randall Stadium. The victory came six days after UW challenged Notre Dame in the first half of a 28-point loss at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.
