This is a pretty historic ground being used for sports since 1902 but the first Cricket match there was played in 1912. It belongs to by far the most successful side in Argentine domestic Cricket, the Belgrano Athletic Club(who have won Argentina's domestic title 46 times with the second best being Lomas AC with 22 wins, they've even sent 'B' or 'Lions' teams to the competition and won as well, matter of fact as recently as 2024 when Belgrano 'Lions' won) which hosted a match against a touring MCC side(who played against the "Northern Suburbs") in 1912 and is also a Rugby, Hockey(formerly) and Football(formerly) ground.

It has hosted the most FC matches out of any ground in Argentina being 6 with the first one being when Argentina hosted the MCC in 1927. The other FC matches were played when Sir TEW Brinckman's XI toured in 1938.

The last matches played here were when the Subregional Qualifier was held in December 2024 for qualification for the 2026 T20 WC.

The second image is the pavilion which was opened in 1914, you might see the year 1896 being written on the left side of that board in the middle as that was the year when Belgrano AC was officially founded. The flags on the building are the Argentinian national flag(middle) and the yellow-brown flag of the Belgrano Athletic Club(on the left and right).

The third image is the lone grandstand of the ground, called the Donald Forrester Stand, was built in 1910 and still stands till this date. It has a seating capacity of ~500 and it can be seen in all its glory here.

Edit: Fuck, you can't see anything on the board in the second image, probably because Reddit compressed the image, it did semi-blurrily show "1896" on the left and "2019"(when the pic was clicked) on the right in the original image.
