I've lived here for YEARS and have tried several layouts. I cannot seem to figure out:
1. Where to put the TV (its moved to almost every possible wall in this room)
2. Where to put the couch so its comfortable yet usable with watching TV - right now its super diagonal view wise, not very welcoming or comfy
3. I ended up getting a tiny table right in front of the TV, for when I eat lunch by myself (I WFH on most days)... but it feels wrong? Like layout wise. I run into it a lot, but I also feel like I need a place around there.
4. I realize I feel like I need to put stuff down when I come through the door, but I feel like there's no great place for it right now. My entryway is quite small.
5. My kitchen island ends up being a mess bc there is no other communal place that feel like I can put my cup of pens or scissors/tape/etc. But it feels disorganized?
Since I have tried so many layouts and have been dissatisfied, I have an overflow of furniture I'm not sure what to do with in the corner.... Trying to figure out whether to get rid of them or not.
I'm welcoming any tips to help make my space feel more comfy and not too disorganized/scattered. Please excuse my use of ppt to create a layout... not much of a designer. lol
I primarily run into the issue of where to put the couch/TV configuration. After that, the dining table. Thank you for any help or insight you can give me!
