So these were taken with an OM-1 and 100-400mm IS II. At the Billy Frank Jr Wildlife Refuge in Western WA.
Some of you mentioned the photo might be better with a closer crop, so I have tried my best to get that without it looking too bad. I have also included the full shot for comparison. These have very very minimal editing. mostly slight denoise and a bit of sharpness/exposure on the subjects, however I have no idea why some of the photos the Heron looks almost "crispy" it doesn't look like that on my PC and unfortunately I don't use reddit with my PC. So these are all from my phone.
Some of the lighting is weird between different photos because I was changing my exposure compensation/shutterspeeds as these photos took place over the span of probably 20-30 minutes.
This Heron caught at least 3 different snakes, including the largest Garder Snake I have ever personally seen. which is the last photo.
If there is any advice how to make these photos better, be it crops, color grading, or anything else please let me know. I am truly trying to be a professional at this.
Thank you all for showing such warm and encouraging words throughout the last few posts I have made here.
