Queen Elizabeth II’s Queen’s Green Canopy began in 2021 as a tree-planting project marking her Platinum Jubilee. After her death in 2022, planting continued in her memory until March 2023. More than three million trees were ultimately planted across the UK, creating a lasting landscape record of her 70-year reign.
