How do you animate the native loading/ splash screen of an app?

Hi everyone, I am pretty new to this and I want to make an animated loading screen for my app.

I tried working with Claude Code. Even Opus 5 fucks things up. And also I looked up and I saw that animated vector drawable was the answer but I'm not exactly sure to where to get started.

How do you all go with animations in the loading screen and are there any generators that you use to build the loading screen or any other animations?

Btw I use Expo (react-native)
