Manchester United Women star Celin Bizet recently returned to training after having a baby.
The Norwegian has since sat down with the club’s media and spoken about her feelings for the rest of the season.
When asked about how her baby and she are getting on, she said, “we’re both amazing, to be fair. It’s nice to come back and it’s the same but different, isn’t it?”
She also asserted, “it’s coming here with the girls and finally having a day where I spend it training and being social with the girls, and different going home to a baby but it’s so nice.”
Her own preparationShe explained that she did her own pre-season for six to seven weeks, but the true emotion was returning to a team session as she had not done that for eight months.
She continued, “I love being social, I get loads of energy being with the girls. So, it was nice being with the staff and the team and having a good session.”
Eva OlidThe winger was also asked about what she thinks of new manager Eva Olid, and she was very complimentary.
She explained, “I love the way she wants to play. It’s how I want to play. Having the ball a lot and obviously defending but being more focused on having the ball and attacking football.”
Bizet also praised her character, explaining that the Catalan is a cheery person who gives off good vibes.
Speaking on her potential return to the pitch, she explained, “it will be a special day. I think it will be emotional, but it will be an amazing feeling coming back on the pitch, that’s what I’ve done since I was eight. And yeah, having Gio there? I can’t wait.”
Olid suggested that Bizet is making faster progress than expected, so we could see her on the pitch in the near future.
United kick off tomorrow afternoon in the league versus West Ham United at 13:00 BST.
