Over several years, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox have been the convenient options I turn to for storage. However, at some point, I noticed a certain inefficiency: it didn't matter whether I had two devices sitting on the same desk; in my OneDrive setup, the files still had to make the trip through the cloud before landing on the other device.
