When the show came out a couple of years ago, I had heard about the one-paragraph premise. I assumed the show was leaning towards existential drama than sci-fi drama but I was completely mistaken!
Over the weekend, I ranodmly decided to give it a try and ended up binging the whole season 1 and honestly I had a heck of a time. I kept assuming things on what direction the show would take and it kept surprising me. Personally, I am a big fan of sci-fi and when accompanied with a good philosophy, it makes a great sci-fi, which is what this show did for me. I am not going write many spoilers here for the people who want to enjoy it but I just wanted to whole-heartedly endorse it.
I know the show relies on the shoulders Joel Edgerton but personally I enjoyed performances of Jennifer Connelly and Alice Braga quite a lot.
