Like seriously. Everyone knows how to block the scholars mate and avoid the fools mate and how to block the attack on f2/f7.
So all you end up doing is making the board extremely messy for the both of us.
Like I am sitting over here trying to learn my openings and my defenses and all my opponents ever seem to want to do is to play as little chess as humanly possible.
It annoys me so much, that I am trying to learn the "proper" or at least a good way to get good at this game and half my opponents try to throw gimmicks out, that most of the time don't even work.
