Flint Community Schools has installed new water filtration systems across its schools and administrative building. Students were previously reliant on bottled water for drinking due to contamination concerns. Testing confirmed that the new systems effectively removed lead and harmful bacteria from the water supply. Although drinking stations are now available, bottled water will continue to be provided throughout the school year.
