These public benches were spotted in Lausanne, Switzerland. They feature internal springs that keep the wood surfaces pressed together, tucked under a little metal roof. When you want to sit in one, you open it and your body weight keeps it open.
The benches were designed to auto-fold to stay dry in rain, and free of bird poop. And the metal roof is easy for workers to clean.
("10/10 Bank" is not the product's name, by the way. "Bank" is German for "bench," and the "10/10" in the title means the design is a ten out of ten.)
