Apple has released updates bringing iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2 to the public, in what is probably the last before the introduction of the impending iOS 27 and iPadOS 27


iOS 26 is still the current-gen iPhone operating system, but not for long.
Apple is in its last stages of getting its 27-generation operating systems ready for public consumption. But while it's doing that, the company is also tending to its current-gen operating systems too.

Released on September 8, one day before its iPhone 18 Pro special event, Apple has issued updates for iOS 26.6.2 and iPadOS 26.6.2.
