It’s not uncommon for new iPhones to experience some weird and annoying little bugs upon release. Despite rigorous testing, new problems are discovered once they get into the hands of millions of customers.

It fixes a probably where a Face ID failure can cause the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max to restart, a weird color artifact for the camera on those models, and a global iOS 27 bug for all iPhones that happens when you try to open Notification Center and Control Center at the same time.
