The woman who accused Jay-Z of sexually assaulting her has now walked back. She withdrew her claims, stating there was “no truth” to the allegations. The woman sued the rapper and music mogul in December 2024.

The accuser, who initially filed the sexual assault lawsuit as Jane Doe, has now claimed in a new court document that she never even met Jay-Z, according to TMZ.

Nearly two years ago, the woman had accused the rapper and Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs of sexually assaulting her. She had even claimed that a third unnamed celebrity was also involved.

Accuser says she never met Jay-Z and formally retracted her allegations

The accuser has now said there is “no truth” to her previously made allegations. She admitted that her “false accusations have caused Mr. Carter immense pain, suffering, and damage that can never be fully undone.”

She also revealed having mental health issues before her team filed the lawsuit back in December 2024. Texas attorney Tony Buzbee filed the original lawsuit.

“There is no truth to any of my claims against Mr. Carter”, she said in the latest document. The accuser also made it clear that she didn’t receive any kind of “financial compensation” from Jay-Z “or anyone acting on his behalf.”

James Blair Newman Jr., the new lawyer of the accuser, said that her client was a “victim of sexual assault, but she was entirely mistaken in her allegations identifying Mr. Carter, and those allegations were false.”

The woman’s new attorney also clarified that “Mr. Carter did not rape her, sexually assault her, engage in any inappropriate conduct towards her, and she has never met him.”

Notably, the accuser had already dropped the case against Jay-Z earlier this year in February. A month later, the rapper filed a lawsuit against Tony Buzbee, his law firm, and the woman.

While the case against Buzbee is still underway, the artist has dropped the case against the accuser.
