It was sent to me by a friend, and initially I _completely_ misread the ending.

Then I realized I'd read it incorrectly, re-read the whole thing start to finish (it's only 1400 words), and now I'm so sad.

The writing is simple. There's nothing poetic about it. And the story is just about a guy who sees a girl who's 100% his type of girl. Not 100% everyone's type, but 100% his. And it's him imagining if/how he should say hello.

Simple premise, simple execution, with a sad and defeating result.

7/10 recommend.

(You can find it in various places online, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to it or not? But literally you can just search for the title or borrow the book from Libby.)
