Ishan Kishan exhibited remarkable resilience, remaining unbeaten at 80 runs during the semifinal clash against Sri Lanka. Despite the Indian team facing early difficulties with multiple wickets falling swiftly, Kishan emerged as a stalwart, enabling India to set a competitive target of 170 runs. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's brisk 38 runs laid a solid foundation, although the Sri Lankan bowlers, spearheaded by their captain, consistently struck at crucial moments.
