NASCAR is giving Kyle Busch fans something pretty special this weekend.

Kyle Larson is set to run a Busch-inspired Kellogg’s No. 5 tribute scheme at Las Vegas, Busch’s hometown track.

Then Ty Gibbs will carry another piece of Busch’s legacy at Bristol.

Gibbs will run the No. 54 in M&M’s branding, bringing back the look that became so closely associated with Busch during his Joe Gibbs Racing career.

The track choice could hardly be better.

Busch won eight Cup Series races at Bristol and completed two weekend sweeps there.

Las Vegas carries an entirely different significance.

A legacy worth another lap.

It was Busch’s hometown track and one of the places where his NASCAR story began.

Now Larson gets to honor him there.

Gibbs gets to honor him at Bristol.

Two very different chapters of Busch’s career.

And two throwback schemes that should make longtime NASCAR fans stop and appreciate the moment.

Busch was one of the defining drivers of his generation.

He won championships, collected victories and became one of the sport’s biggest personalities.

He also made plenty of memories along the way.

Now fans get to see a little piece of that history back on the racetrack.

Honestly, this is what throwback weekends and tribute schemes are supposed to be.

Cool cars. Great memories. And a nod to one hell of a NASCAR career.
