Should you let your landlord come into your apartment whenever they want?

Your boundaries are your boundaries and they shouldn't be crossed so easily. You're entitled to privacy in your own home, a place that you presumably pay rent to be in. Just because you have a landlord doesn't mean that they get the right to come into your home without warning and use your stuff. You pay rent because you want space of your own, not because you want a stranger coming in and messing everything up. But that's what was starting to happen here, where a landlord was continually crossing boundaries without worrying what they were doing. And when the tenant tried to stand up for themselves, things still didn't get any better. It can be annoying when one of you is trying to set a boundary and the other one doesn't seem to care.
