Jeremiah Smith now owns every major Ohio State receiving record after hauling in a 54-yard touchdown in the third quarter of the Buckeyes' Big Ten road matchup against Iowa.
The only items left on the Ohio State star wide receiver's already loaded résumé may be the Biletnikoff Award and, potentially, the Heisman Trophy. Will that come in December? Prominent Buckeyes fan and former Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James certainly thinks so, throwing his support behind Smith's growing Heisman campaign.
"Throw it to 4! #Heisman," James wrote on X (formerly Twitter) shortly after Smith broke Chris Olave's program record for career touchdown receptions.

OSU-IOWA UPDATES: Ohio State's Jeremiah Smith breaks another record as OSU leads Iowa
Smith entered Saturday's game at Kinnick Stadium nine receptions away from tying Emeka Egbuka for Ohio State's all-time career receptions record. He got off to a strong start at breaking Egbuka's record on Saturday with six first-half catches, before tying and eventually breaking it in the third quarter.
He tied Olave's receiving touchdowns record just before halftime, hauling in a 12-yard scoring pass from Buckeyes quarterback Julian Sayin on the right side. Smith then broke the record in the third quarter when Sayin connected with him downfield for a 54-yard touchdown, a walk-in score that gave the Ohio State star sole possession of the program's career receiving touchdowns mark and helped blow the game open in Iowa City.
The 6-foot-4 wide receiver has racked up 423 receiving yards, 23 receptions and six touchdowns and counting over his last two games.
