We just bought a new house and while we love the open concept layout of the kitchen / dining / living room, we are unsure where to put the TV and couch. We were considering the idea of putting it on the empty wall and having the couch face away from the kitchen, but I feel like it would cut off the open concept and flow of traffic. Our realtor said it should go above the fireplace because the fireplace is the focal point and you don’t want to add a competing focal point. Any tips or ideas on how to best design this room?
