Hi all! Soon receiving the keys to my new apartment, and working on a floor plan. I like the current placement of the bed, closet, desk, and couch. The one spot I can't solve is between the kitchen and bed. I want a place to dine, as well as a TV that's visible from the couch, without a bulky cabinet breaking up the open middle (as I really want to keep it nice and spacious).
Two attempts so far:
- Freestanding bar with TV built into the back panel: aesthetically pleasing, but seating is side-by-side only, no face-to-face, which I don't prefer.
- Table with TV integrated into one end: allows face-to-face seating for four, but looks bulkier/less clean to me.
Open to feedback on either one, or completely different ideas on how to approach this. Thanks!
