A man was stabbed in the city’s waterfront neighbourhood Saturday night, Toronto Police said.

Cops were called to the Queens Quay W. and Dan Leckie Way area at 7:24 p.m., where officers found the injured man, with the suspect fleeing before police arrived at the scene.

Police said the victim’s injuries were serious, but non-life-threatening.

Cops described the suspect as a brown male, about 5-foot-4, and of skinny build. He was seen wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans.

Police said the investigation is ongoing and urged anyone with information regarding the incident to contact them at 416-808-1400.

Man sought for attempted murder, break-and-enter in Burlington: Police

Halton Regional Police said it is seeking the public’s help with locating a suspect wanted in a shooting in Burlington on Thursday.

Police said a male victim was treated for a gunshot wound on Aug. 27, with investigators identifying the suspect during their investigation.

Police said Trevor Roland Russell Charleton is wanted for attempted murder and break-and-enter.

Cops said his location is currently unknown.

Police urged anyone with information regarding the suspect’s whereabouts to contact the Halton Regional Police Service’s Major Crime Unit at 905-878-5511, ext. 8900.

Police also urged the public that if they see Charleton, to avoid approaching him and to call 911 as police consider him to be armed and dangerous.

Man wanted in Mississauga stabbing

Peel Regional Police said a man has been arrested and police are looking for another suspect after two people were stabbed in Mississauga late Saturday afternoon.

Police said officers responded to reports of an “disturbance” in a parking lot in the Dundas St. W. and Parkerhill Rd. area at 5 p.m., where they found two men suffering from stab wounds after a fight allegedly broke out in parking disbute.

Police said both victims were taken to hospital with serious injuries, and are now in stable condition.

After a brief search, officers were able to locate one of the suspects without incident, police said.

Ali Halimi, 30, of Mississauga, was arrested and charged with assault.

Police said officers are looking for a second male suspect, who allegedly stabbed the victims.

The suspect is wanted for attempted murder, with police stating that they believe he may be in possession of a knife.

Police released a photo of the suspect, describing him as Middle Eastern, approximately 25 to 35 years old, with a thin build, medium complexion, thinning brown hair, and an unshaven appearance.

Police said he was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black Nike sweatpants, a black cross‑body bag, and white and grey Air Jordan shoes with a black logo.

Police said the suspect should be considered armed and dangerous, and that anyone who sees him should not to approach him and to call 911 immediately.

Police probing North York crash

Toronto Police said it’s investigating a crash involving two vehicles that left a woman injured in North York late Saturday afternoon.

Police said a white minivan driven by a 50-year-old man heading northbound on Jane St. near Finch Ave. W. crashed into a grey sedan driven by a 61-year-old woman travelling southbound on Jane.

Police said the woman sustained life-threatening injuries, and that all occupants remained at the scene.
