This week on Hulu, enjoy a comedy starring Margot Robbie and Samara Weaving, plus more exciting new releases.

Arriving on September 8 in both English and Spanish, Babylon (2022) is an epic comedy-drama from director Damien Chazelle. The film captures the extravagant rise and fall of multiple characters as they navigate Hollywood’s chaotic shift from silent cinema to talkies in the late 1920s.

The film features a stellar ensemble cast, with Brad Pitt as Jack Conrad, a celebrated silent film star navigating an evolving industry. Margot Robbie is Nellie LaRoy, a fearless newcomer chasing stardom, Samara Weaving is Constance Moore, and Diego Calva portrays Manny Torres, a Mexican immigrant with dreams of becoming a filmmaker. Jean Smart appears as Elinor St. John, a sharp-witted gossip columnist, whereas Jovan Adepo is Sidney Palmer, a talented jazz trumpeter. And Li Jun Li stars as Lady Fay Zhu, a captivating cabaret performer.

Another release coming to Hulu this week is Poor Things. Directed by Yorgos Lanthimos, this 2023 surreal dark comedy dropping on September 7 follows Bella Baxter, played by Emma Stone. Set in Victorian London, she is brought back to life by the eccentric scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter, portrayed by Willem Dafoe, who transplants the brain of her unborn child into her body.

Also hitting Hulu on September 12 is Secret Princes: Complete Seasons 1-2. The TLC reality series follows international royals who go undercover as everyday people in the U.S. to find love based on personality rather than title.
