The crowd at Milan Fashion Week is always well-dressed, but for Spring 2027, the contrast with the casual clothing at New York Fashion Week was especially stark. While NYFW showgoers wore jorts, tanks, flat sandals and breezy silhouettes, MFW attendees dressed up in elevated workwear pieces accessorized with ties, socks, heels and structured bags.
Of course, the weather played a part. In New York City, the 80-degree temperatures and high humidity caused a “fuck it, it’s hot” vibe. But still, it was in the high 70s for MFW, so most of the crowd dressed more for style than comfort. Layers were everywhere, with office-inspired looks featuring on-trend twists like visible bras (also big at NYFW), sheer skirts, cropped blazers and tons of mixed prints.
If London Fashion Week’s “Gossip Girl”-esque street style took us back to school, Milan is the sexier, modern “Mad Men” version. Keep scrolling to see the best street style looks from outside the Spring 2027 shows in Milan.
