This 1996 Toyota Land Cruiser HZJ75 is a right-hand-drive, Australian-market troop carrier wagon that was registered in New South Wales before it was imported to the US in April 2021. It was purchased the following year by the seller, and power is provided by a 4.2-liter 1HZ diesel inline-six linked to a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The White-finished exterior has been modified with an Ironman 4×4 Monster winch, an ARB awning, a Rhino-Rack roof platform, a Safari 4×4 snorkel, and aftermarket bumpers. The truck rides on a 2″ Ironman 4×4 Nitro Gas suspension lift kit and 16″ multi-spoke wheels, and inside, the gray and light blue cloth-trimmed cabin houses a Sony head unit, a Midland radio, and a custom enclosure with a sleeping platform, a drawer system, an Iceco refrigerator, a Renorgy battery system, and an ARB air compressor. Now showing 303k kilometers (~188k miles), this 70-series Land Cruiser is offered in North Carolina with the owner’s manual, spare parts, service records, import documents, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.

The two-door body was finished from the factory in White (045), and the seller believes that it has received paintwork prior to being imported. The ARB front bumper features a brush guard, a 9,500-lb Ironman 4×4 Monster winch with a synthetic rope, and Kings auxiliary lights. Other exterior details include an ARB awning, a Rhino-Rack Pioneer roof platform, a Safari 4×4 snorkel, a front wind deflector, an aftermarket rear bumper, an antenna, running boards, sliding side windows, and a receiver hitch with a Reese three-way tow ball. Signs of corrosion are noted in a few places.

The truck rides on a 2″ Ironman 4×4 Nitro Gas suspension lift kit and black-finished 16″ multi-spoke wheels, the latter of which are mounted with 285/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. A matching spare is affixed to the aftermarket rear swing-away carrier. The front axle has manually locking hubs and the suspension uses an aftermarket steering stabilizer and Ironman 4×4 shackles. The tie-rod ends were replaced in June 2021, and the front brake rotors and pads were changed in September 2022.

The cabin houses front bucket seats trimmed in gray cloth with light blue patterned inserts, while rubber mats line the front footwells. Other interior details include a Sony head unit with Apple CarPlay connectivity as well as a Midland two-way radio, air conditioning, a digital clock, and manual crank windows.

The rear seats have been removed, and a custom enclosure with a sleeping platform has been fitted in their place. It is outfitted with a drawer system, an Iceco refrigerator, a Renorgy battery system, an ARB air compressor with a quick-connect point, Rockford Fosgate speakers, storage compartments, 12-volt and USB charging ports, and light controls. The rear barn door trim panels were replaced in August 2021.

The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 180-km/h speedometer, a 6k-rpm tachometer, and readouts for voltage, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 303k kilometers (~188k miles), approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership. The timing belt light is illuminated.

The 4.2-liter 1HZ diesel inline-six was factory rated at 129 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. An aluminum radiator was fitted in September 2022, at which time the water pump and battery were replaced.

Power is routed to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The clutch slave cylinder was replaced in September 2022. Corrosion is visible on underside components.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage.
