Orlando Pirates return to cup action this weekend when they face off against Sekhukhune United in the first of two legs of the MTN8 semifinal on Saturday.

The match will be played Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 15:00

The Buccaneers remain on the road for the third consecutive fixture as they take an all-important trip to Limpopo, which could go some way towards determining whether their quest for the first piece of silverware on offer this season remains alive.

Pirates have won the competition four consecutive times and a win in Polokwane could see them reach yet another final as they look to win the MTN8 for the 15th time.

How will Orlando Pirates lineup?

Pirates will have to face Sekhukhune without the likes of Sihle Nduli and Thalente Mbatha, while Tshepang Moremi could soon return after sitting out the win over Chippa.

With Moremi back, Oswin Appollis is likely to start on the right side of attack, with Yanela Mbuthuma playing as a lone striker.

In defence, Kamohelo Sebelebele is a sure starter at right back now that Deano Van Rooyen has left the club.

With Mbatha out injured, it gives another opportunity for Thapelo Mokobodi to impress in the middle of the park. Kabelo Dlamini, who hasn’t kicked a ball in months, could also make a cameo if he’s called upon.

Here’s Orlando Pirates expected 11 against Sekhukhune United: Sipho Chaine, Kamohelo Sebelebele, Nkosinathi Sibisi, Lebone Seema, Deon Hotto, Camren Dansin, Thapelo Mokobodi, Patrick Maswanganyi, Oswin Appollis, Tshepang Moremi and Yanela Mbuthuma.
