Money can be a sensible topic for some, while others cannot stop crying out loud about how little money they have and don't know how to stop spending. I never had a problem when talking about money: I think it is something worth discussing, and especially something we should be learning more about in school. Budgeting, spending, investing… I'm older now and still don't get those topics. How can I have a budget? How do I spend my money? Should I hire someone?
Unless you have parents who are good with money, or any adult who can guide you in this process, it's complicated to learn by yourself without having the feeling that you're risking all your salary. What I would recommend is to relax and to start dipping your toes into a little financial education, either from a social media platform or from an online course. I've been doing that for the last couple of months and have learned a lot!
I bought a course about investing because I wanted to find the method that works best for me. I'm still looking for it, but one thing that the teacher said that really got me was that money is energy, and we have to keep that flowing and moving. It's not only a piece of paper that we need to put under our mattress and forget about it. It's a trading method, and it needs to circulate. I never thought about money in that way, but it makes sense!
