I've been leaning hard into wellness this year, and not at all in the "5 a.m. cold plunge" kind of way. My version has been redefined to revolve around the softest life I can achieve while living a mile-a-minute lifestyle in New York. My apartment currently houses an entire cabinet full of supplements, a sleep mask I refuse to travel without, and a magnesium spray that's replaced my nightcap. It happened gradually, then all at once—the way any real routine does. This is probably the best update mine has had in quite some time.
What I'm sharing below isn't a wish list. Every product here has lived in my bathroom cabinet, nightstand, or gym bag long enough that I'd buy it again with my own money, chic packaging included. Consider this the edit of what's worked, sorted by supplements, sleep, and the at-home stuff that makes the whole routine feel less like a chore and more like a reset.
Supplements
Supplements are where I'm the least influenced by trends and the most influenced by what makes me feel my best from the inside out. These are the ones currently living on my counter.
HUM Nutrition Flatter Me Fiber GLP-1 BoosterThis is the supplement I reach for on the mornings when I want to feel steady instead of ravenous by my first meeting. I've been taking it for a few months now, and it's earned a permanent spot in my cabinet.
Perelel Hormonal Balance SupportPerelel's hormone support has become my no-brainer as someone who's been managing a PCOS diagnosis for years. I like that it's formulated by an ob-gyn and not just another wellness brand guessing what might work. It's the supplement I'd recommend first if a friend asked me where to start.
ballerina farm Protein Powder Variety PackI blend this into my morning smoothie to give it a boost of nutrients and a ton of flavor. It mixes cleanly, has no chalky aftertaste, and has become the base of my routine instead of something I forget in the pantry.
Proper The Greens Superfood PowderI tried quite a few green powders and never found one I liked. I was often left feeling bloated or disgusted by the taste, if I'm being honest. I mix it into water or add it to a smoothie most mornings, and taking it has become as automatic as making coffee. It's nice to get my first dose of veggies out of the way.
Sleep
I used to think a good night's sleep just happened to other people. These are the tools that changed that for me.
HigherDOSE Infrared Sauna Blanket for Full-Body DetoxThis is my new nonnegotiable. I've been using it once or twice a week and am already blown away by how effective it is. It's sweaty and slightly ridiculous looking, but it's also been magic for my sleep schedule. I feel like I slept eight hours even on the nights I only got five.
Hatch Restore 3My Hatch has been part of my routine ever since I bought it four years ago. I even brought it with me to Spain to make sure I could still have the peaceful wake-ups it brings me. It's my alarm, my sunrise light, and my white noise machine in one, and it makes the days I have to wake up early feel way more natural.
Slip Lovely Lashes Contour Sleep MaskI am someone who sleeps with a mask on every single night, even packing it for overnight stays. Naturally, I have between five and 10 of them, yet I always choose this one over the others. It's just the most comfortable and makes it feel like my lashes aren't clashing with the fabric of the mask.
OURA Ring 5Yes, here's another wellness buy I've sworn by for years, but a morning doesn't start without me checking my sleep score and analyzing how I can get a better one tomorrow. I also love tracking my cycle and workouts with it.
Lemme Sleep, Melatonin & Magnesium GummiesThis is my newest sleep-supplement obsession after trying quite a few, and finally, I get the hype. I have had so many friends who swore by it, but I thought my traditional melatonin pill was the way to go. For some reason, this one brings me to a much deeper sleep.
Clementine Sleepwear Organic Silk Cami SetMy evening routine revolves around pajamas. Every time I come home, the first thing I do is slip into a pair (admittedly, sometimes in the middle of the day). A good set of pj's has to be 100% silk, and this is just that.
Proper The Blues Superfood PowderWhenever I feel like the chances of getting a good night's sleep are absolutely hopeless, I know exactly what to pour a spoonful of—this exact sleep powder. It tastes amazing and knocks me out in seconds.
ag1 AGZ Sleep Support SupplementIf melatonin doesn't sit right with you, this is the sleep supplement to try. I like to sip it for maybe 30 minutes as part of my wind-down routine while I wash my face and start getting comfortable. It gets bonus points for the fact that it tastes like hot chocolate.
Homebody Materials
This category is less about products and more about turning my apartment into a peaceful enclave. These are the pieces doing the most work.
bombas Plush Sunday SlipperAnother thing I have quite a lot of is slippers. After switching between four or five different styles throughout the time that I've been slipper obsessed, I'm finally set on my favorite pair, and it's this one from Bombas. They're simply the definition of comfort.
Missoni Belted Striped Cotton-Terry RobeThis robe has been on my wish list for a few months now, and after owning multiple Missoni towels, I can vouch for their dependability and style. I'm looking forward to the day when I can wear it every single morning while I make coffee, zigzag print and all.
Shark CryoGlow LED Face MaskThe Shark Beauty LED mask is my new excuse to sit still for 10 minutes and do nothing else. It fits way better than the previous masks I've used, and the cryotherapy technique is heavenly.
alo Magnesium Reset SprayALO's magnesium spray is the perfect replacement for the nightcap you used to reach for to unwind. I spray it on any sore areas before bed, and it calms me down quickly. It's become as much a part of my evening routine as brushing my teeth.
Cann 0MG in Blood Orange CardamomCann's magnesium drinks are what I reach for instead of wine most weeknights now that I've stopped drinking. They taste good enough that it doesn't feel like a consolation prize, and I sleep way better on the nights I have one.
DesignWorks Notebook JournalThis is the least glamorous thing on this list and maybe the most important. I've bought this journal probably five times and spilled, unpacked, and processed everything from childhood to now in it. You need this to be part of your routine.
