The accolades continue for Restaurant Pearl Morissette in Jordan Station, Ont.
The 2026 Michelin Guide for Toronto and the surrounding region says the Niagara wine country restaurant retained two stars in the new guide announced on Tuesday night in Toronto.
Since opening in 2017, the restaurant has been widely praised as led by co-chefs and co-owners Daniel Hadida and Eric Robertson.
It has taken the top spot on Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list for the past two consecutive years and was named No. 3 among North America’s 50 Best Restaurants this June.
Tanière in Quebec City is the only other two-starred restaurant in the country.
In the new guide, 14 Ontario restaurants kept their one-star status, and no new stars were awarded.
This year’s selection also includes five new Bib Gourmands (serving good value, high-quality food) and they are Toronto’s Antylia, Golden Horseshoe Barbecue and The Lunch Lady of Saigon, St. Catharines’ Les Incompetents, and Pearl Morissette’s Jordan Station bakery, RPM Bakehouse.

Toronto trails only NYC and L.A. for its culinary scene
Resonance Consultancy data, according to Destination Toronto, says the city ranks third among competitors for its culinary offerings with only New York City and Los Angeles ahead.
