Nicolas Cage‘s first look in the Best Pancakes in the County poster is beyond mind-boggling. If anything, the actor should be crowned the ‘King of Transformations,’ since his facial transformation for this upcoming action-thriller makes him look practically unrecognizable.

In the new bloody poster for Best Pancakes in the County, shared by @Fandango‘s official handle on X, the actor’s new look is front and center. The poster also confirms the release date for the upcoming movie.

The exclusive image showcases Cage’s distinct, unhinged look, including a prosthetic nose. Per the update, the movie is scheduled for theatrical release on November 20, 2026. Independent Film Company/IFC Films is handling the theatrical and digital release.

What to know about Nicolas Cage and Justin Long’s new action movie

Cage stars alongside Justin Long, Shelley Hennig, and Ravi Patel in Best Pancakes in the County. Ken Sanzel wrote and directed the movie, and it’s set for a simultaneous release in theaters and on digital platforms in the United States.

The synopsis reads: “Set over the course of one explosive night, Best Pancakes In The County transforms an unassuming small-town diner into the epicenter of a deadly standoff involving rogue federal agents, a fast-talking con man with a dangerous past, and a waitress harboring secrets of her own. As loyalties blur and tensions erupt, survival depends on who can outthink — and outgun — everyone else.”

In the movie, Cage plays “The S.O.B., an eccentric and cunning criminal caught in the escalating confrontation,” per Deadline. Long joins him as Cookie, along with Hennig as Dolly, Patel as Ryder, Brandon Mychal Smith as Agent Otto, Lauren German as Agent Margot, Kelly Greyson as Blondie, Jaylen Moore as French, and Michael Sirow as Agent Kincaid.

You can catch Best Pancakes in the County on November 20, 2026.
