Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 leaves Xbox Game Pass on October 15, giving subscribers roughly a week to play the award-winning RPG before it departs. Eurogamer reported the deadline on October 7, alongside Microsoft’s first batch of October additions; the game is leaving on Cloud, Console, and PC.

The date is worth noting if the RPG has been sitting in the backlog with a particularly smug claim to your attention. It joined Game Pass early last year, according to Eurogamer, and is described there as widely acclaimed and hugely celebrated.

Expedition 33 is not the only familiar name on the way out. Donut County and Pacific Drive are also among the departing games, alongside six others.

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Crime Scene Cleaner (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Donut County (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Evil West (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Nova Roma (Game Preview, PC)
  • Pacific Drive (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • Superball (Cloud, Console, and PC)
  • The Casting of Frank Stone (Cloud, Console, and PC)

That gives subscribers until October 15 to start or continue any of the nine games before they leave the library. For anyone eyeing the RPG in particular, the remaining window is about a week from the date of Eurogamer’s report.

Microsoft’s first October wave is spread across four dates: October 8, 13, 15, and 16. Eurogamer calls Battlefield 6 the month’s headliner, noting that it sold more than 7 million copies in three days, broke series records, and topped Steam’s best-seller charts.
