ISTANBUL – Oil prices climbed 2.2 percent on Wednesday, with Brent crude futures riding above USD100 a barrel as escalating US-Iran tensions continued to roil global energy markets. The international benchmark surpassed the USD100-a-barrel threshold as of 0730 GMT, extending gains amid heightened concerns over potential disruptions to oil supplies.
