MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang warned the public on Sunday against a fabricated graphic circulating online claiming that classes have been suspended on Oct. 5, Monday, for the celebration of National Teachers’ Day. In an advisory posted on its official Facebook page, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said it did not issue such an announcement. “The public is advised to refrain from sharing unverified information and to rely only on announcements from official government sources,” the PCO added.
