A new trailer for an upcoming documentary on Oasis by the Peaky Blinders creator has been released. The documentary’s new poster was also released ahead of its U.S. theatrical release. It highlights the band’s rise to fame during the 1990s Britpop movement and legacy.
Steven Knight, creator of Peaky Blinders, created and wrote the Oasis documentary. It is helmed by Will Lovelace and Dylan Southern.
The official synopsis of the documentary reads, “Experience the meteoric rise of Oasis through rare footage and untold stories as the band reunites for Oasis Live ’25, chronicling their journey from Manchester streets to global rock stardom.”

Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger chronicles the legendary band’s rise & legacyThe new documentary highlights Liam and Noel Gallagher’s triumphant reunion tour. Oasis Live ’25 was one of the most anticipated rock ‘n’ roll comebacks, as shown in the trailer. The poster captures a still of the brothers walking on stage, hand in hand.
The movie documents what was arguably the biggest musical event of 2025, capturing both the experience and intimate behind-the-scenes footage of the Wonderwall singers.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger also captures the Gallagher brothers’ first interview together in over 20 years. It explores the unique emotions of the band members as well as their fans across the world through rehearsals, backstage, and onstage footage.
Along with their sold-out 2025 world tour, the upcoming movie also explores the emotional and cultural impact Oasis’ music had on audiences across generations.
Oasis is an English rock band formed in 1991. The band consists of Liam as lead vocalist, Noel as the lead guitarist and vocalist, Paul “Bonehead” Arthurs as the rhythm guitarist, Gem Archer as the Guitarist, and Andy Bell as the Bassist. Joey Waronker is part of the touring lineup as the band’s drummer.
Apart from the members of Oasis, the documentary also stars Anaïs Gallagher, Noel’s daughter, and Molly Elson, a friend of Noel’s daughter. Sam Bridger and Guy Heeley serve as the producers of the documentary. Executive producers include Kate Shepherd, Marisa Clifford, Davud Karbassioun, Tom Mackay, Krista Wegener, Thomas Benski, Isabel Davis, and Tim O’Shea.
Oasis: Don’t Look Back In Anger will open in cinemas in the U.S. on September 11, 2026. The documentary will be available for streaming on Disney+ internationally and on Hulu and Disney+ in the U.S. later this year.
