This summer, Sony announced that it would be ceasing PlayStation physical disc production in January 2028. Fans were not pleased with this decision and tried to make their voices heard, to no avail. However, this doesn't mean they're ready to give up either. Part of the community came together and organized a digital blackout protest, which started officially on Aug. 23.
