After a remarkable 35-year run, Microsoft Publisher has officially retired. Microsoft’s planned phase-out schedule reaches end of support in October 2026; removal for Microsoft 365 apps began rolling out on or shortly after October 1, 2026. Today, 13th October 2026, perpetual license versions (like Office LTSC 2021) are finally ending support.
