Within 90 minutes, the entire 2026 calendar-year allocation of the Rumble Bee with the 5.7-liter V8 was sold out. The buying frenzy didn’t stop there as the order book was filled through March 2027 within 24 hours.

That has to be a huge relief for Ram as the company took a gamble on bringing muscle trucks back. As Tim Kuniskis previously told us, the Rumble Bee wasn’t a “safe bet” as street trucks have never really worked out well in the past.

However, Ram did their homework and made muscle trucks more practical. As part of this effort, the Rumble Bee is quad cab-only and offers an extensive lineup that includes an affordable base model, a mid-level 392 variant, and an extreme SRT version with 777 hp (579 kW / 788 PS).

Given the high demand, Ram said “sold customer orders within the allocation will receive priority status.” The brand noted this should help to ensure customers get their trucks as quickly as possible.

Ram CEO Matt VanDyke remarked, “The speed at which the Rumble Bee sold out speaks volumes about the passion our customers have for performance trucks. By pairing legendary Hemi V8 power with Ram capability and a distinctive design, we’ve delivered a truck that captures the spirit of modern American muscle.”

The entry-level Ram 1500 Rumble Bee starts at $59,995 and has a 5.7-liter Hemi V8 that eschews stop/start and eTorque systems. It produces 395 hp (295 kW / 400 PS) and 410 lb-ft (555 Nm) of torque, and is connected to an eight-speed automatic transmission as well as an active four-wheel drive system. This setup enables the model to accelerate from 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 6.1 seconds and run the quarter mile in 14.6 seconds at 93 mph (150 km/h).
