Ravens announce initial 15-player practice squad

The Baltimore Ravens have announced the first 15 players on their 2026 practice squad, keeping several familiar veterans and promising young players in the organization following final roster cuts. Baltimore's initial group is headlined by kicker Jake Moody, outside linebackers Adisa Isaac and Kaimon Rucker, defensive lineman Rayshaun Benny and veteran wide receiver Chris Moore.

The full group includes Benny, offensive linemen Nick Dawkins and Gerad Lichtenhan, linebackers Dominic DeLuca and Carl Jones Jr., wide receiver Xavier Guillory, Isaac, Moody, Moore, defensive lineman David Olajiga, cornerback Amani Oruwariye, tight end Ty Pezza, Rucker, safety K'Von Wallace and running back Jonathan Ward.

The Ravens still have room to make at least one additional standard practice-squad addition.

Several of the players were among Baltimore's more notable final cuts.

Benny, a seventh-round pick out of Michigan, gives the Ravens another developmental option along a defensive front that was difficult to crack during training camp. Isaac, a 2024 third-round pick from Penn State, remains an intriguing pass-rushing prospect despite failing to earn a spot on the initial 53-man roster. Rucker also showed enough during the preseason to warrant continued development at outside linebacker.

Baltimore retained veteran insurance as well.

Moody gives the Ravens an experienced kicker behind Tyler Loop, while Moore provides proven depth at wide receiver. Oruwariye and Wallace give Baltimore two veteran defensive backs who can be elevated if injuries strike during the regular season.

Ward provides another experienced option at running back. The practice squad also allows Baltimore to continue developing Dawkins and Lichtenhan along the offensive line while keeping several players who spent the entire summer learning the Ravens' system.

With the initial group now established, Baltimore can continue adjusting the bottom of the roster as other players become available around the league.
