I think that the main problem here is the fact that the gas station's employee clearly banned her from parking her vehicle on site, expecting her just to magically teleport to work every day. Well, that and her attitude. If she had been nice about it, one of the neighbors might have actually let her park her vehicle close by. I get not wanting to walk far to your vehicle, especially alone and at night and in some areas where it's not necessarily safe to do so. There's a way to go about things, and if you aren't willing to do so, you should be ready for the consequences. In this case, paying hefty towing and impound fees.
