HONG KONG/SHENZHEN, China: The founder of China Evergrande Group, the world's most heavily indebted property developer, was sentenced to life in prison by a Chinese court on Thursday.
The sentence came five years after the company's collapse caused major damage to China's economy and financial markets.
Hui Ka Yan, once Asia's richest man, pleaded guilt
