“It would be a dream to be part of it. I haven’t received a call, so I don’t know anything about it. It’s like you were just talking about I would love to be part of it. It’s an amazing, I’ll call it a franchise. I think Sicario, the first one, is one of the best movies in the last 30 years. So I am very grateful to be part of it,” he said.

The possibility of another Sicario film was recently addressed by Josh Brolin, who also appeared in the first two movies. Brolin told ScreenRant that Sicario 3 “is happening” and indicated that work on the action thriller could begin “soon.” His comments provide the latest indication that the third chapter is moving forward.
The franchise began with Sicario in 2015 and continued with Sicario: Day of the Soldado in 2018. The films revolve around covert government operations against Mexican criminal cartels, with a focus on the involvement of a former Mexican prosecutor who has become an assassin.
The project does not yet have a confirmed release date, while details about its storyline and complete cast remain undisclosed.
