Do you ever wonder if anyone cares about your inner thoughts?

That's exactly what sparked a conversation on twitter these past few days. X user sakikoXII asked if anyone ever started writing a tweet and midway figured out that no one really cares about what you want to say, probably thinking no one woud see it or answer. Ironically, a lot of people saw the tweet and replied to it. The answers were consistent: yes, most people start writing and then realize most likely no one will ever see it or reply. Some choose to delete the whole thing; others post it anyway.

Twitter is like peak self-expression. Literally, you can just start writing about something that you care about or are interested in and post it. It's the place to give opinions, share thoughts, and basically verbalize every random thing that goes through your mind. That can be a perfect way to decompress and relieve your mind, like the secret diaries from the 90's and the 2000's, but a lot more public. It can also be an excellent way to start unnecessary conflict. Some people, who apparently have nothing better to do, like to hate on random things and ideas just because… They definitely should find a better way to occupy themselves. That's the only thing that could be annoying about posting online, but hey, if you can handle haters and are sure about what you want to say, go for it! Besides, it's a free world! Be free, talk, write, ramble about weird questions and inner thoughts, and just live your best life.

In the meantime, these tweets express perfectly well the way most people on Twitter have felt at one point or another while writing a post. Reading the replies is an excellent way to feel accompanied in the feeling of internet doubt.
