Around thirty students and two faculty members from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute were injured during a clash. This incident occurred when members of ABGP confronted students protesting an event at their auditorium. Injured students were treated at local hospitals, with some suffering serious injuries from the confrontation. Both sides accused the police of inaction, leading to multiple FIRs being lodged.
